Obituary

Craig W. Skinner, of West Buffalo St., Warsaw and formerly of Arcade died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw at the age of 61.

He was born July 16, 1954 in Springville, NY a son to the late Willis and Eleanor (Meyer) Skinner. He was a graduate of the West Valley High School and was a United States Vietnam Airforce veteran. He was a member of the Travelers Motorcycle Club in Springville and a member of the Warsaw V.F.W. He had a black belt in karate and taught karate with John Laird in Arcade. He also taught Okinowan Goju Ryu.

He was a machinist for B&B Precision in Avon, NY. He had also worked as a machinist for Motorola and Prestolite for 37 years in Arcade.

He is survived by his fiance: Robin Barnhardt of Warsaw; his children: Dennis (Christoper Bianchi) Skinner of Churchville, NY and Brian (Laurie) Skinner of Corfu; his siblings: Warren (Wilma) Skinner of West Valley and Annette (David) Gerwitz of Gloucester, VA; his grandchildren: James and Layna Skinner of Corfu; also survived by the mother of his children - Julie Skinner of Arcade as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

The calling hours and funeral service date are still pending but will be held at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home in Springville
