Pauline Picchi
December 08 1949 - May 18 2016 - Age 66

On Wednesday, May 18th, Pauline Picchi passed in the comfort of her home in San Mateo, CA while surrounded by her family. 66 years of age, Pauline lived vivaciously and courageously despite her battle with liver cancer.

Born December 8, 1949 in Elizabeth, NJ to Agatha and Gaspare LoGiudice, she lived in San Mateo for all but the first two years of her life. She is survived by her soulmate and husband of 32 years, Daniel Picchi; only child, Joseph Picchi; sister, Lillian Santangelo; brother, Joseph LoGiudice; nephews Michael LoGiudice, Anthony and Daniel Vassallo; niece, Lilliana LoGiudice. Predeceased by her niece, Tina Vassallo (2006); stepfather Mark “Toshinori” Nakai (2016).

Pauline appreciated and promoted the arts beginning in the Sicilian restaurant she owned with her brother, Paul Joe’s, in San Carlos, CA. After retiring, she brought her culinary talents to Toque Blanchè in Half Moon Bay, CA. Honest, humorous, and loving, she will be missed internationally by those blessed to have known her.

Pauline’s family thanks you for your generous outpouring of support and prayers. Funeral Mass will commence on Friday, May 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) in Belmont.
