Keith (Keechie) Lee Palmer
February 27 1958 - September 03 2016 - Age 58

Keith Lee Palmer of Delmar passed away peacefully on September 3.

He is survived by his mother Jeanne Palmer, his brother Gary and wife Barbara and brother Glenn and wife Merlyn, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Harry Jay Palmer.

Keith was a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School. He had a generous heart for those in need and had a strong love for his mother and grandmother (Granny) who both lived alone. He saw that every birthday was celebrated and took them for rides in his vintage convertible. He collected antiques and refinished furniture. He loved dogs, car racing, camping, fishing and was an excellent skier. He worked in the electronics department at Lechmere in Colonie before it closed and always made sure his friends and family were properly equipped and given the family discount. Before his illness he brought great happiness to his mother and grandmother.

A memorial service to celebrate Keith's life will be held at the Bethlehem Community Church, 201 Elm Ave, Delmar, NY 12054 on September 24, 2016 at 10 AM

Jeanne, I am sorry for your loss. You are a great mother. Gary and Glenn, you were always a tight group with each other. Brothers! Keith really did enjoy life and unfortunately the end came to soon. Keith is at peace, he is in a safe and quiet place now. We enjoyed road trips, fishing, skiing, camping, Formula 1 racing. Keith will be missed and remembered for his sense of humor and oh yes, the girls always fell for that smile. Rest brother.

When I was in so much emotional pain Kieth was there. He taught me how to drive a stick on his car and never raised his voice once. Just the other day as I often think of him I decided to listen to a artist that he told me I would love I had never heard of her but boy oh boy did I fall in love with the music and her voice, we would just sit and talk get subs and listen to her . She ,the artist was Etta James . Kieth loved the sobriety song the best and the hundreds of times we listened to that song he always said the same thing "listen to the words"! Your struggles are now gone Kieth and as happy as I am that you are with the lord I will miss your face, laughter, dumb jokes and your kindness. Two more things I believed you and It is happening rapidly to others now and second I never told you even though It was impossible to have designs on you but I told you yes I thought you were cute but as your friend I couldn't say not cute Keith your one of the most handsome men I ever met and I will never understand why the two you were sweet on in your life disappointed you. I still call soda, pop because of you and I have gotten some strang looks. Please ask the Lord to help in healing and ask CJ to ask too.Let Debbie know I would be there for Keisha but I need to be well firs
